SICE was awarded the construction of all the electrical, thermo-mechanical, air conditioning and similar plant engineering works relating to the energy requalification of the i Giardini del Sole shopping center in Castelfranco Veneto. The contract, worth approximately 4 million euros, provides for the complete replacement of all air conditioning systems with the supply of 22 new high-efficiency heat pump rooftops as well as various hydronic heat pumps, the refurbishment of the electrical substation and all the backbone power systems as well as a refined BMS supervision, home automation and thermoregulation system. The new rooftop units will treat a total of over 735,000 m³ of air per hour for a peak installed cooling capacity of around 5,600 kW. The intervention will benefit from tax deductions thanks to the contextual anti-seismic and thermal insulation interventions on the roof of the building.
